Basketball Game Preview: Sterling Silver Knights vs. Clearview Pioneers

The Sterling Silver Knights will face off against the Clearview Pioneers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Tuesday, Sterling came up short against Haddon Township and fell 38-25. The defeat continues a trend for the Silver Knights in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now lost five in a row.

The losing side was boosted by Paris Logan, who posted 12 points along with six rebounds and six blocks. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in blocks.

Meanwhile, Clearview also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Washington Township by a score of 57-45.

Clearview dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Sterling, their record is now 12-11.

Sterling was dealt a bruising 56-29 defeat at the hands of Clearview in their previous meeting back in January of 2020. Can Sterling avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
