Basketball Recap: USC Hybrid Takes a Loss

USC Hybrid was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 59-27 loss at the hands of the Animo Robinson Monarchs. The matchup marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Leading Animo Robinson to victory were Deandre Kirkpatrick and Roger Shackelford. Kirkpatrick dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 boards, while Shackelford posted 16 points along with seven assists and six steals. The contest was Kirkpatrick's fourth in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Jason Pippert, who had ten points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.

USC Hybrid's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Animo Robinson, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-10.

As of now, neither USC Hybrid nor Animo Robinson have any future games scheduled.
