Recap: Brevard Blue Devils vs. T.C. Roberson Rams
The Brevard Blue Devils's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. Their tough 69-47 loss to T.C. Roberson might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Brevard has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Brevard lost, one person who can't be blamed is Eli Griffin. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points along with three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Baker Buchanan, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Jacob McGraw continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for T.C. Roberson, scoring 17 points along with seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that McGraw scored 15 or more points. LaRon Mills was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Brevard now has a losing record at 3-4. As for T.C. Roberson, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
Brevard will be home for the holidays to greet East Rutherford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in East Rutherford's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for T.C. Roberson, they will head out on the road to face off against Watauga at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday.
