Baseball Recap: Cass City Takes a Loss

Cass City suffered their biggest loss since April 8, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 11-3 to the Hemlock Huskies. The Red Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cass City saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey Bean, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Cass City's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Hemlock, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cass City will host Brown City at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hemlock, they will challenge Michigan Lutheran Seminary at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Huskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
