Softball Preview: Rochelle Hubs vs. Ottawa Pirates
Rochelle is 0-10 against Ottawa since May of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Hubs will take on the Pirates at 4:30 p.m. Rochelle will be strutting in after a win while Ottawa will be coming in after a loss.
On Tuesday, Rochelle needed a bit of extra time to put away Forreston. They had just enough and edged out the Cardinals 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hubs have posted since May 11, 2024.
Lauren Dyer made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.
