The Pine Ridge Panthers had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Crescent City with a sharp 67-44 win on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Pine Ridge has posted since December 6, 2023.

It was another big night for Elijah Laird, who scored 23 points along with nine rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last eight times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jyles Newman, who scored 13 points.

Pine Ridge's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Crescent City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Pine Ridge will look to defend their home court on Friday against Tavares at 7:30 p.m. Crescent City won't have much time to rest: their next game is against New Smyrna Beach at 7:30 p.m. on January 18th. New Smyrna Beach presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Crescent City in Florida (New Smyrna Beach is ranked 207th, while Crescent City is ranked 664th).
