Volleyball Recap: Alief Taylor Takes a Loss

Alief Taylor was the 3-0 winner over Fort Bend Bush when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alief Taylor actually scored more points across those five sets (109-106), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 26-24, 19-25, 20-25, 26-24, 15-11.

Alief Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Fort Bend Bush, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Alief Taylor wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against King on the 21st. As for Fort Bend Bush, they will square off against Ball at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
