Volleyball Recap: Dr. Krop Lightning vs. Reagan Bison
Dr. Krop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Reagan Bison. The Lightning were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bison earlier this season, when they won 3-1.
Dr. Krop actually scored more points across those five sets (99-94), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-14, 25-23, 12-25, 15-12.
Luciana Narvaez went supernova For Reagan., getting 22 digs and two assists. Those 22 digs gave Narvaez a new career-high.
Dr. Krop's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Reagan, they pushed their record up to 6-14 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
Dr. Krop wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Sports Leadership & Management on the 8th. As for Reagan, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against TERRA Environmental on the 7th.
