Baseball Game Preview: Colo-NESCO Royals vs. Riceville Wildcats

Colo-NESCO is 7-1 against Riceville since June of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Royals will welcome the Wildcats at 12:00 p.m. Colo-NESCO's hitters haven't had much luck over their past four contests, but Wednesday's match will give them a chance to turn things around.

Colo-NESCO was handed a eight-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Clarksville 2-1. The Royals haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Riceville didn't have quite enough to beat BCLUW on Monday and fell 5-4. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Riceville's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Colo-NESCO, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Colo-NESCO came out on top in a nail-biter against Riceville in their previous matchup back in June of 2024, sneaking past 8-6. Do the Royals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
