Preview: Rangeview Raiders vs. Denver North Vikings
The Rangeview Raiders will head out on the road to challenge the Denver North Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Rangeview focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday.
After a string of three wins, Rangeview's good fortune finally ran out. They fell just short of Denver South by a score of 55-53.
Despite their loss, Rangeview saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Kenny Black-Knox, who scored 13 points along with five blocks, was perhaps the best of all. Archie Weatherspoon V was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Meanwhile, Denver North took a serious blow against Northfield on Friday, falling 82-36. While losing is never fun, Denver North can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 115th, while Northfield is ranked 18th).
Rangeview now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Denver North, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.
