Delavan-Darien waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Milton Red Hawks as they made off with a 5-1 win. Given Delavan-Darien's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 36th, while Milton are ranked 129th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Delavan-Darien hit Milton with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Christopher Elguero (2), Erick Fuentes, Andres Valadez Soto, and Steven Smith.

Delavan-Darien's victory bumped their record up to 7-1-2. As for Milton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Delavan-Darien will head out to square off against Heritage Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Milton, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Monona Grove at 7:00 p.m.
