Softball Recap: Malone Takes a Loss

Malone managed to slip by Graceville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Malone came up short against Graceville on Tuesday, falling 35-25. Malone just can't catch a break and has now endured five defeats in a row dating back to last season.

A Wesley was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring five runs and stealing 14 bases. while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Wesley is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least two every time she's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Jordin Josey, who scored three runs and stole Eight bases. while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Even though they lost, Malone was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2024.
