Softball Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Valley's offense. They came up short against the Horseshoe Bend Generals on Wednesday, falling 7-0. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Generals recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Horseshoe Bend, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-2.

Looking ahead, Valley will challenge Sylacauga at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Aggies will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight. As for Horseshoe Bend, they will square off against Central of Clay County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
