The Springboro Panthers will face off against the Beavercreek Beavers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Springboro 3.6, Beavercreek 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Springboro is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They beat Lakota East by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-7. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Thunderhawks: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Beavercreek owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Elder 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Beavers.

Springboro's victory bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Beavercreek, their win bumped their record up to 21-4.

Springboro beat Beavercreek 7-4 in their previous meeting back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
