Basketball Recap: Killian Hill Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Killian Hill Christian extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping them down to 2-4. They were beaten by the Sugar Hill Christian Academy Stallions 88-56. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Stallions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.

As for Sugar Hill Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Sugar Hill Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gabriel Espin, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds. Espin is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 16 games he's played dating back to last season. Tyler Veugeler was another key player, shooting 64% from the field on his way to 23 points and three steals.
