It was a good run, but South Lyon East unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dakota.

South Lyon East's loss dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Dakota, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

South Lyon East will take on Lakeland at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests. As for Dakota, they have already played their next game, a 12-6 win against Trenton on the 17th.
