Baseball Game Preview: East Lee County Jaguars vs. Lehigh Lightning

East Lee County is 2-8 against Lehigh since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Jaguars will host the Lightning at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, East Lee County didn't have quite enough to beat South Fort Myers and fell 4-3.

East Lee County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jax Filler, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Federico Rodriguez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Lehigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 11-0 to North Port.

East Lee County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Lehigh, their loss dropped their record down to 1-19.

Everything went East Lee County's way against Lehigh in their previous meeting on Thursday, as East Lee County made off with a 15-5 win. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Lightning have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
