Soccer Recap: Greeneville Falls to Dobyns-Bennett in First Game of Season

Greeneville kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Dobyns-Bennett Indians by a score of 2-1. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Greeneville couldn't quite close it out.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greeneville will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sullivan East at 6:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Dobyns-Bennett, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Halls at 6:30 p.m.
