Baseball Preview: Eastern Eagles vs. Green Bobcats
Eastern hasn't had much luck against Green recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m.
Eastern fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Peebles on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 5-4.
Meanwhile, Green put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They skirted past Rock Hill 7-5.
Gabe Blevins was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
