Basketball Recap: Northridge Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Northridge was the 47-38 winner over Helena when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Northridge Jaguars took a 47-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Helena Huskies on Monday.

Northridge's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-7. As for Helena, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Northridge and Helena should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. Northridge will challenge Sipsey Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 140 places (48 vs. 188). Northridge is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Meanwhile, Helena (ranked 83rd) will meet Chilton County (ranked 361st) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
