Football Recap: Bridgeport Piles Up the Points Against Soap Lake

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bridgeport). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 74-20 victory over the Soap Lake Eagles. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 70-14 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Bridgeport and bumps their season record up to 3-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 20 points in those games. As for Soap Lake, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bridgeport is set to face off against their familiar foe Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Soap Lake will challenge rival Pateros at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
