Recap: Bear River Bears vs. Uintah Utes
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Herriman, the Bear River Bears were happy to have found some success on Friday. They came out on top against Uintah by a score of 39-27. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bear River also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2020.
Among those leading the charge was Angelie Delgado, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and 2 assists. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Saydee Pebley was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.
Bear River's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Uintah, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
Bear River will head out on the road to face off against Sky View at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Uintah, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mountain View at 5:15 p.m. Mountain View is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
