Softball Recap: Hopewell Comes Up Short

Hopewell lost against Avonworth back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Vikings came up short against the Antelopes, falling 13-2.

Hopewell saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allison Ramaley, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Ramaley launched this season.

Hopewell's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Avonworth, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hopewell is set to face off against their familiar foe Beaver Falls at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Avonworth will challenge rival Quaker Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
