Basketball Recap: Merrimack Valley Falls Short of Derryfield in the Playoffs

Merrimack Valley and Derryfield squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Merrimack Valley had to settle for second. They fell to the Derryfield Cougars 50-45. The Pride were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 57-35.

Merrimack Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Derryfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-4.

As of now, neither Merrimack Valley nor Derryfield have any future games scheduled.
