Basketball Recap: DeKalb County Takes a Loss

DeKalb County lost against White County back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The DeKalb County Tigers fell 57-46 to the White County Warriors.

White County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tripp Pinion, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 16 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. That's the most steals Pinion has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Keaun Lewis, who posted 15 points and five rebounds.

DeKalb County's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for White County, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.

While DeKalb County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
