Baseball Recap: Riverview Takes a Loss

Riverview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 14-0 to the Strawberry Crest Chargers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sharks of the 8-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2020.

Riverview now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Strawberry Crest, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverview will face off against East Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Bay will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Riverview surely won't give up without a fight. As for Strawberry Crest, they will be playing at home against King at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Strawberry Crest's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
