            The MacDonald Condor are taking a road trip to  challenge the Lynbrook Vikings  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Cupertino hit MacDonald with a seven-run fifth inning  on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Condor came up short against  the Pioneers, falling  14-4. The Condor's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
 MacDonald saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Ileyah Sanchez, who  went 1-for-2 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.  Kyra Reid was another,  going 1-for-3 with three  RBI.
Meanwhile, Lynbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight  loss. They lost  14-2 to Palo Alto.
  Audrey Lee was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-3 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  double. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last four games she's  played.  Calia Lim also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  double of the season.
 Lynbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for MacDonald, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
 MacDonald beat Lynbrook 7-2  in their previous matchup  two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Condor since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
