Basketball Recap: Indian Valley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Coshocton last Monday, Indian Valley came back down to earth. The Indian Valley Braves lost 50-29 to the Sandy Valley Cardinals on Wednesday. The Braves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 41-38.

Indian Valley's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9. As for Sandy Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

The future could be bright for both Indian Valley and Sandy Valley: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Indian Valley will try to hand River View their fifth-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sandy Valley will look to extend Garaway's 16-game losing streak when the meet at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
