Baseball Recap: Strayhorn Mustangs vs. Myrtle Hawks

Strayhorn lost against Myrtle back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Strayhorn Mustangs lost 12-1 to the Myrtle Hawks. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Strayhorn saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trevor Bateman, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. What's more, Bateman posted two hits, the most he's had since back in February of 2024.

Myrtle is facing Biggersville at the right time seeing as Biggersville is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
