Evergreen came tearing into Thursday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Genoa Area Comets. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Comets, too.
Lanae Manz paced Evergreen's offense, picking up 14 kills. Manz got some help from Lissa Roesti and her 24 assists. Manz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
