Orofino extended their postseason success on Saturday against New Plymouth. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pilgrims, sneaking past 11-9. The Maniacs are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 17 straight.

Orofino let Quinton Naranjo and Lane Turcott run wild. Naranjo went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double, while Turcott went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Ethan Gilmore was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Orofino was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as New Plymouth only posted a batting average of .233.

Orofino's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for New Plymouth, they now have a losing record of 14-15.

As of now, neither Orofino nor the Pilgrims have any future games scheduled.
