Volleyball Recap: Union Local's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Union Local had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Tuscarawas Valley Trojans with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Jets as they're now sitting on three straight.

Union Local walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 29-27, 25-22.

Ameera Saunders paced Union Local's offense, picking up 24 kills. Saunders got some help from Delaney Butler and her 34 assists. Brooklyn Burley controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Union Local's record now sits at 19-6. As for Tuscarawas Valley, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 14-12 record.

As of now, neither Union Local nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
