Baseball Recap: Worthington Christian Falls to Whetstone in First Game of Season

Worthington Christian had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Whetstone Braves by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Worthington Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Demmer, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.

Coming up, Worthington Christian will square off against Sissonville at 11:00 a.m. on March 28th. As for Whetstone, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will face off against Central Crossing at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
