Softball Game Preview: Harpeth Indians vs. Franklin Admirals

The Harpeth Indians are taking a road trip to square off against the Franklin Admirals at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither Harpeth nor Franklin posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Harpeth fell victim to Creek Wood and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Red Hawks, falling 12-0. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Red Hawks: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Franklin also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 10-0 to Summit on Tuesday.

Franklin saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Myers, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Harpeth's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Harpeth took their victory against Franklin in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 7-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
