Preview: Lake Braddock Bruins vs. Robinson Rams
Lake Braddock is 1-9 against Robinson since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Lake Braddock Bruins will be staying on the road to face off against the Robinson Rams at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. Lake Braddock will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 269th, while Robinson is ranked fourth).
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 59-25, which was the final score in Lake Braddock's tilt against South County on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lake Braddock has scored all season.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Robinson's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to Langley 43-39.
Lake Braddock's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-6. As for Robinson, their defeat ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-1.
Lake Braddock lost to Robinson on the road by a decisive 46-32 margin in their previous meeting back in February. Can Lake Braddock avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
