Softball Recap: Sierra Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Sierra's offense. They lost 33-0 to the Central Catholic Raiders on Tuesday. The Timberwolves' loss continues a trend for the team, making it nine in a row.

Sierra's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Central Catholic, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4.

Looking ahead, Sierra will face off against Oakdale at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Timberwolves' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Central Catholic, they will square off against Mountain House at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
