Volleyball Recap: Lakeview Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Lakeview entered their tilt with Struthers on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

One reason for the win was Lakeview's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-17, 25-16.

Lakeview's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Struthers, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeview will host Girard at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Struthers, they will welcome McKinley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
