Volleyball Game Preview: St. Bernard Vikings vs. Mary Star of the Sea Stars

St. Bernard hasn't had much luck against Mary Star of the Sea recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. St. Bernard will be playing in front of their home fans against Mary Star of the Sea at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, St. Bernard earned a 3-1 win over Serra.

St. Bernard had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Mary Star of the Sea made easy work of Serra on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

While Mary Star of the Sea won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-20, 25-22.

The win got Mary Star of the Sea back to even at 3-3. As for St. Bernard, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
