Centerville is 9-1 against Northmont since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Centerville Elks will challenge the Northmont Thunderbolts at 7:30 p.m. Centerville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Northmont likes a good challenge.

On Sunday, Centerville was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 63-57 to Reynoldsburg. While losing is never fun, the Elks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Raiders are ranked second).

Butler typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Northmont proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 60-53 victory over the Aviators. The win was nothing new for the Thunderbolts as they're now sitting on three straight.

Northmont is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.8 points per game. As for Centerville, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Centerville strolled past Northmont in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 69-53. The rematch might be a little tougher for Centerville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
