Football Recap: American Leadership Academy Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for American Leadership Academy's offense. They took a blow against the Heritage Academy Heroes on Friday, falling 57-0. American Leadership Academy just can't catch a break and has now endured six losses in a row dating back to last season.

Heritage Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Seth Skousen, who rushed for 15 yards and two TDs, and also threw for 63 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Skousen a new career-high in passer rating (156.3). Ethan Cahall was another key rusher, gaining 92 total yards and two touchdowns.

American Leadership Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Heritage Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
