Soccer Recap: Liberty Plays to a Tie

For the first time since back in December of 2024, Liberty was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. Neither they nor the Shadow Ridge Stallions could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 4-4 draw. Considering the Lions' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

They hit Shadow Ridge with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tatum Kuniski (2), Malori Ladd, and Evelyn Carr.

Liberty's draw makes their record 8-6-2 this season. As for Shadow Ridge, they moved theirs to 6-4-1.

Liberty will face off against Corona del Sol at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Shadow Ridge, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 defeat against Xavier College Prep on the 27th.
