Winter Park had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Lake Mary Rams by a score of 7-3. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 10-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Winter Park got a great performance from Miles Gotlib as he struck out seven batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits. Gotlib has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Skyler Jersey was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Another player making a difference was Hayden Montanez, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Winter Park pushed their record up to 21-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.14 runs across that stretch. As for Lake Mary, their loss dropped their record down to 11-13.

Looking ahead, Winter Park will face off against Webster Schroeder at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Mary, they will square off against Seminole at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams are facing the Seminoles at the right time seeing as the Seminoles are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
