Volleyball Recap: Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots vs. Point Loma Pointers
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Academy of Our Lady of Peace had no problem doing just that on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Point Loma Pointers 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Pilots: when they faced off against the Pointers back in September, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.
Academy of Our Lady of Peace was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-12, 20-25, 25-19, 15-9.
