Volleyball Recap: Sam Houston Takes a Loss

Sam Houston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Seguin Matadors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hurricanes of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11, 25-11.

Sam Houston's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Seguin, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Looking ahead, Sam Houston will welcome John F. Kennedy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games the Rockets have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Seguin, they will take on Elgin at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
