Basketball Recap: Casey County Takes a Loss

Casey County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were dealt a 63-26 defeat at the hands of the Somerset Briar Jumpers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-27 back in December of 2024.

Casey County's record now sits at 0-11. As for Somerset, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-7 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Casey County will face off against Burgin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Somerset, they will take on Garrard County at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Garrard County has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 200 points over their last three matchups.
