After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Autauga Academy, Autaugaville was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 19-2 margin over Ellwood Christian. Considering Autaugaville has won nine matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Autaugaville is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Ellwood Christian, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Autaugaville will welcome Autauga Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ellwood Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Southside at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
