Cuba/Spoon River Valley is a perfect 10-0 against Astoria/VIT since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Rebels at 4:30 p.m. Cuba/Spoon River Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

While Cuba/Spoon River Valley's victory against Delavan wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Panthers 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since April 8th.

Emma Probyn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Morgan Patterson was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Meanwhile, Astoria/VIT was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 12-9 to Brown County.

Astoria/VIT saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was H Horwedel, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.

Astoria/VIT's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Cuba/Spoon River Valley, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.

Everything went Cuba/Spoon River Valley's way against Astoria/VIT in their previous matchup on Tuesday, as Cuba/Spoon River Valley made off with a 14-2 victory. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rebels turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
