Volleyball Recap: Columbus Takes a Loss

Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Galena Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss on Saturday.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Galena, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Galena beat Columbus by a score of 2-0 later that day.
