Springfield's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Northview Wildcats. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

With the victory, Springfield broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-8. As for Northview, they dropped their record down to 10-5-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springfield will welcome Maumee at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Northview, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Perrysburg at 5:00 p.m. The Yellow Jackets will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
