Victor won the last time they faced Penfield and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Blue Devils sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Patriots. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Blue Devils have posted since April 16th.

The win made it two in a row for Victor and bumps their season record up to 9-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Penfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
